The staff was super friendly and helpful. We loved the location which was within easy walking distance of the train station, great restaurants, and museums. Our suite had a beautiful view, and was full of lovely extras like yukata of all sizes, tea, water, and snacks. The onsen was amazing, including the sauna. The Premier Lounge was an added luxury that we enjoyed. The gift shop was full of wonderful souvenirs, plus the gift shop attendant very kindly helped us mail our luggage to our next destination.

The breakfast spread was good and we enjoyed our 4 mornings of good breakfast. It is Japanese style mixed with some western, there are juices, tea, coffee and desserts. The staff serving breakfast was very polite and neat. What we like best is the private room Japanese dinner which we enjoyed for the 3 nights. Very exclusive and different night, different menu. On our last night our dinner was changed from 2nd floor to the 10 floor which allow us to see the night scene of this little town. I highly recommend this for family or honey moon couple. We booked 3 rooms and requested for our rooms to be next to one another and the hotel helped us with this request. The Onsen in this Ryoken was clean and comfortable both indoor and outdoor. Walking from Tendo station to here is about 15 mins. The room is super comfortable, clean, shower and WC separated, well furnished in Japanese style. If I have a chance, will return.

We found the Tendo Hotel to be a good blend of Japanese style room and Japanese and western amenities. American, Chinese and Japanese breakfast dishes are available at the buffet. We slept well on the tatami mat and futon. We found the onsen very nice and relaxing.

Good location. Great value for money. Room was spacious and clean. Public bath was huge. Good breakfast buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent noodle restaurant literally just across the road.

Free shuttle service (and you don't need to wait for 5-6 people to fill the car). Excellent hot springs with a waterfall. Spacious clean room. Fast check-in and check-out. Awesome location, 5 min away from Tendo station.

The Onsen was wonderful and in a great location we had a great breakfast with lots of options. Dinner was a beautiful traditional Japanese cuisine.

The room was clean and beautiful, with great mountain views. The onsen was luxurious and nourishing, and staff were friendly and not intrusive. Great buffet breakfast, beautiful lobby... we loved it and intend to return. It made our trip!

Staff was very hospitable and made it easy to navigate the area. Would stay again as it is a 15 minute walk from the train station. ( they do take you to and from station when you arrive and leave).

The accommodation was exceptionally clean, with friendly staff. The included dinner was fantastic, and the shuttle service from Tendo station to the hotel was convenient.
